Job summary
A recruitment consultancy is seeking an Interim Equal Pay & Job Evaluation Specialist for a short-term project with an NHS organization. This specialist will design a job evaluation scheme to create a fair pay structure and address potential pay disparities. The ideal candidate will have qualifications in HR or legal fields, proven experience in job evaluation, and a strong understanding of NHS pay structures. This role is remote and expected to last around one month.
Qualifications
- Qualified HR / OD or legal professional with expertise in pay and benefits.
- Proven experience in job evaluation design, equal pay compliance, and delivering similar projects.
- Experience of working in the NHS and Agenda for Change pay.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a job evaluation scheme that underpins an equal pay framework.
- Review and update job descriptions to align with evaluation requirements.
- Conduct oversight evaluation of current roles.
- Develop a fully costed pay structure.
- Complete an Equality Impact Assessment.

We are partnering with an NHS organisation to appoint an experienced Equal Pay and Job Evaluation Specialist for a critical interim assignment. Following recent TUPE transfers, there is a need to review and address potential pay disparities. This project will focus on creating a fair and transparent pay structure supported by a robust job evaluation process.
- Design and implement a job evaluation scheme that underpins an equal pay framework
- Review and update job descriptions to align with evaluation requirements
- Conduct oversight evaluation of current roles
- Develop a fully costed pay structure
