A leading healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a clinician to work with young people in the Neurodevelopment Service. The role involves assessing conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), conducting school observations, and providing support through psycho-education and behavioural interventions. The ideal candidate should have experience in a clinical setting and possess good communication skills. Ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.

This is a clinical role working with young people and their families from the point of referral to discharge or diagnosis to the Neurodevelopment Service. The role will involve contributing to assessments of young people with possible neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Carrying out school observations and providing intervention and support (including direct individual, family, group psycho-education, indirect behavioural work and post diagnostic support). You will also be required to support the team in terms of ensuring smooth running and organisation of the service, research, evaluation and service development as required. You will work within a clinic setting as well as community. You will have access to regular individual supervision, peer supervision, CPD opportunities within and outside of the service.
