A leading healthcare provider in Cardiff is seeking a part-time role at Velindre Cancer Centre for patient registration and scheduling services. Responsibilities include accurately registering patients, ensuring data compliance, and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, advanced keyboard skills, and excellent communication capabilities. Flexible and independent working is essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Join a dedicated team focused on high-quality patient care.
The individual will play a key role in delivering a high quality service at Velindre Cancer Centre. The post holder will be part of a team providing a registration and scheduling service for patients' appointments and treatments. Self‑management is essential; the post holder must manage and prioritise time and workload, working primarily independently and on own initiative with minimal supervision. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams, and the ability to adapt daily work plans to meet rapidly changing priorities in an unpredictable workload.
