Insight Global is seeking a Global Head of Engineering to lead its UK and US engineering functions, reporting directly to the COO. The role involves:

1. Devising and maintaining an organizational structure
2. Ensuring good working practices
3. Providing strong management and leadership to the engineering team
4. Monitoring performance and setting development goals
5. Managing quality within the team
6. Understanding regulatory and QMS requirements and contributing to the QMS working group
7. Liaising with the Sales Team and COO to introduce standard costing of key engineering activities
8. Collaborating with the CTO on significant projects
9. Managing and scheduling projects
10. Developing performance metrics
11. Leading recruitment efforts
12. Providing technical leadership in the design function

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering management, strong leadership skills, and excellent technical knowledge related to human anatomy, biomedical engineering, and additive manufacturing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Engineering Degree (Biomedical specialization preferred)
• At least 5 years’ experience leading a team of engineers in a commercial environment
• Sector-specific knowledge of the Orthopaedic market, preferably in or alongside the design of patient-specific surgical devices

Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.
