Job summary
A major infrastructure company is seeking a highly experienced Snr. Cost Manager for their Birmingham office. The successful candidate will manage the Application for Payment process while driving cost control and providing commercial leadership in complex transport projects. Ideal applicants have extensive experience in commercial management within the rail or infrastructure sector, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position based in the UK, with no remote work options available.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in commercial management within the rail or major infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of cost planning and contract administration.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive progress without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Undertake cost estimating and value engineering exercises.
- Manage change control and Application for Payment process.
- Maintain relationships with Joint Venture Partners.
