Kings Food are looking to recruit a Demi Chef de partie to join our busy team on our Strand campus.
Reporting into the Head Chef the successful candidate will have a passion for great quality fresh food and be able to work to a high standard with great attention to detail.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to assist the Head Chef with the daily kitchen operation including both retail and hospitality.
- Have experience of high-volume catering
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and under pressure
- Understand food hygiene regulations
- Be highly organised and passionate about food
- Be up to date with current food trends
The contract is offered on a five out of 7 days basis and will involve working evenings and weekends.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Hold a recognised catering qualification
- Experience of working in a catering environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking and portion control
- Knowledge of all food hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Experience of producing a wide variety of food
- Excellent cooking skills
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of hospitality and event catering
- Hold a food handlers certificate
