Job summary
An established engineering firm in Aylesbury seeks a CNC Miller Setter/Operator. In this role, you will operate CNC milling machines, ensuring precision and quality in production. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machinery, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Qualifications
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling centres.
- Ability to manage multiple machines efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Use metrology equipment to verify part quality.
- Meet production output targets while maintaining high standards.
Skills
Up to £38,532 per annum
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Monday to Thursday 8am until 4.30pm & Friday 8am until 3.30pm

Our long established Engineering client based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire are currently recruiting for a permanent CNC Miller Setter / Operator.
Our client is a trusted provider of precision components and engineered solutions across diverse industrial sectors.
As a CNC Setter / Operator, you'll play a vital role in our clients manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in every component. You will work with advanced CNC machinery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to projects across high-performance sectors.
- Set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision components
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- Use metrology equipment to verify part quality
- Meet production output targets while maintaining high standards
