CAD CAM Engineer

Bolton, commutable from: Manchester, Rochdale, Blackburn, Wigan, Preston, Warrington, Stockport, Liverpool, Oldham and surrounding areas

Are you a CAD CAM Engineer looking to take a step up into a role in which you will take the helm on innovation projects within an industry leading company?

On offer is a role in which you will become a key member within the department, given the freedom to showcase your skills and lead your own work.

This well‑established, market‑leading company is a specialist in the manufacturing and installation of fire protection products. An exciting period of growth has seen them going from strength to strength and they are now looking to develop and invest in their design department.

In this position you will be hands‑on with the CAD design – mainly using SolidWorks. CNC punch, fibre laser as well as contributing towards the improvement within the department by leading innovation projects.

This position would suit a CAD CAM engineer looking to join an innovative company in an exciting and creative role.

The Role

• Design and manufacture fire protection products using CAD, CNC punch and fibre laser.
• Lead innovation projects within the department.

Work Hours:

• Mon‑Thurs: 8:15 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:15 am – 3:45 pm

The Person

• Experienced with CAD (either 2d or 3d), CNC punch and fibre lasers.
• Excellent SolidWorks experience.
• Experience within fire protection or a similar background desirable.
