Connex Education is working with a Secondary Schools in Wakefield and assisting them in recruiting a Psychology Teacher to work full- time from October 2025-July 2026 maternity cover

About the school

Connex Education are seeking a Psychology Teacher for an ongoing temporary position. They School are looking for Psychology Teacher who holds experience with A Level Psychology. The School is located in Wakefield and is part of a well known academy group.

Assignment Details

The role is to start after October half term until July 2026. This is a maternity cover meaning it may extend to October 2026.

Person Specification

• must be 21 and over
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• PGCE
• You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Have experience teaching Pyschology in a UK secondary school setting.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons across ability ranges.
• Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
