Our client, a global Freight Forwarder, is looking for an Export Coordinator to join their growing team in Aberdeen. The Export Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire export process from start to finish.

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience in freight forwarding. However, we are open to individuals with a transport background who are willing to learn exports.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Package:

• 33 days holiday per annum, inclusive of public holidays

Responsibilities:

• Planning optimal routes for shipments considering goods nature, cost, transit time, and security
• Processing all export requests from clients or line managers
• Maintaining ongoing communication with clients throughout the export process
• Monitoring door-to-door export travel until successful delivery within the required timeline
• Producing quotes and providing the best solutions/options to clients
• Supporting colleagues to ensure timely completion of all jobs
• Processing customs declarations using ASM Sequoia software in compliance with HMRC regulations
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of HM Revenue & Customs regulations
• Adhering to destination-specific documentation requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' UK experience in international imports and freight forwarding
• Full understanding of HMRC regimes and entry types
• Proficiency with ASM Sequoia and CHIEF software
