Skills
We are so excited to be supporting the search for a highly experienced General Manager to take the lead across two exceptional establishments in Wiltshire. The first is a charming, traditional gastropub nestled in a picturesque countryside village; the second, a beautifully renovated boutique hotel set to open its doors in 2025.
- £50,000 per annum plus tips
- Working 5 days per week, 45 hours
- Set days off – Sunday and Monday
- A mix of split and straight shifts with the latest finish of 10pm
- 28 days holiday

- Working closely with the owners to shape and implement short and long-term business and marketing plans, driving revenue and profitability through proactive development strategies.
- Overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction is consistently high and any feedback or complaints are handled swiftly and with care.
- Managing the day-to-day running of the property, including shift planning, bookings, cashing up, health & safety protocols, and incident reporting to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Leading recruitment, staff reviews, and rota management, maintaining a motivated, high-performing team aligned with the company’s values and standards.
- Promoting and coordinating events, private functions, and room bookings to support sales targets, while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
