We are so excited to be supporting the search for a highly experienced General Manager to take the lead across two exceptional establishments in Wiltshire. The first is a charming, traditional gastropub nestled in a picturesque countryside village; the second, a beautifully renovated boutique hotel set to open its doors in 2025.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the General Manager…
  • £50,000 per annum plus tips
  • Working 5 days per week, 45 hours
  • Set days off – Sunday and Monday
  • A mix of split and straight shifts with the latest finish of 10pm

Responsibilities as the General Manager…
  • Working closely with the owners to shape and implement short and long-term business and marketing plans, driving revenue and profitability through proactive development strategies.
  • Overseeing all aspects of service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction is consistently high and any feedback or complaints are handled swiftly and with care.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of the property, including shift planning, bookings, cashing up, health & safety protocols, and incident reporting to ensure smooth and secure operations.
  • Leading recruitment, staff reviews, and rota management, maintaining a motivated, high-performing team aligned with the company’s values and standards.
  • Promoting and coordinating events, private functions, and room bookings to support sales targets, while ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
