Our client, a leading marine consultancy, is seeking a passionate and hands‑on Marketing Manager to drive their marketing initiatives and support their ambitious business development goals.
- Own and maintain the company marketing plan aligned with business development priorities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external marketing consultants and agencies.
- Ensure consistent application of the brand across all materials and channels.
- Coordinate the production of engaging marketing content, including brochures, case studies, and newsletters.
- Manage marketing-related activities using HubSpot CRM.
- Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
- Assist in the planning of courses given by consultants and engage with the associated social and customer networking activities.
- Track marketing activities and provide straightforward performance reports.
- Produce and track the annual marketing budgets in conjunction with the business development team.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business development teams.
- 3–5 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Background in professional services, consultancy, engineering, or B2B sectors.
- Strong written communication and content‑editing skills.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
- Confident in managing external suppliers and consultants.
- Organised, pragmatic, and comfortable operating autonomously.
- Ability to navigate a corporate social environment with ease.
- Exposure to technical or engineering‑led businesses.
- Experience supporting international or multi‑office organisations.
- You want ownership of a marketing function rather than a narrow channel role.
- You enjoy translating complex services into clear, professional messaging.
- You're comfortable operating in a technical consultancy environment.
