Marketing Manager – City of London

Location: City of London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £47,500 p.a. + Benefits

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, a leading marine consultancy, is seeking a passionate and hands‑on Marketing Manager to drive their marketing initiatives and support their ambitious business development goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the company marketing plan aligned with business development priorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external marketing consultants and agencies.
  • Ensure consistent application of the brand across all materials and channels.
  • Coordinate the production of engaging marketing content, including brochures, case studies, and newsletters.
  • Manage marketing-related activities using HubSpot CRM.
  • Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Assist in the planning of courses given by consultants and engage with the associated social and customer networking activities.
  • Track marketing activities and provide straightforward performance reports.
  • Produce and track the annual marketing budgets in conjunction with the business development team.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business development teams.
Essential Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Background in professional services, consultancy, engineering, or B2B sectors.
  • Strong written communication and content‑editing skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Confident in managing external suppliers and consultants.
  • Organised, pragmatic, and comfortable operating autonomously.
  • Ability to navigate a corporate social environment with ease.
Desirable Skills
  • Exposure to technical or engineering‑led businesses.
