A childcare organization in Hove is seeking a passionate Beach Educator to lead Beach School sessions. The role involves guiding children's outdoor learning experiences while ensuring their safety and developing connections with nature. Essential qualifications include a Level 3 in Early Years Education and experience with child-initiated learning. The position is part-time, requiring 24-30 hours per week along the picturesque beaches of Rottingdean and Hove shores.
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
- Bring experience from Early Years settings and understand the EYFS framework.
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Responsabilités
- Lead daily routines and ensure high-quality care during Beach School sessions.
- Collaborate on seasonal planning that follows children’s interests.
- Manage beach resources and maintain risk assessments.
