A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor requires an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage key work packages for a major water infrastructure project in Greater London. This role involves commercial management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement, primarily using NEC contracts. Candidates should possess substantial experience in project management within the water or utilities sector. A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is currently delivering one of Thames Water’s largest and most high‑profile AMP8 programmes. Due to continued growth across the framework, an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to support the commercial delivery of this major water infrastructure project.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a long‑term, complex AMP8 scheme with strong visibility, stability, and progression potential.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take responsibility for the commercial management of key work packages from pre‑construction through to final account. Working closely with operational, design, and client teams, the role will involve cost control, procurement, contract administration, and change management under NEC forms of contract.
The successful candidate will be a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working within the water or utilities sector. A strong understanding of NEC contracts and the demands of large‑scale, regulated infrastructure projects is essential.
