A leading NHS healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support diagnostic assessments for ADHD and ASD in Greater London. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on physical monitoring and supporting children and young people on medication. This position requires good interpersonal and computer skills. Flexible working hours are available to meet service needs, and there’s a strong emphasis on improving services for neurodevelopmental conditions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCA to contribute to the integrated neurodevelopmental pathway in Oxleas. Working across the Greenwich and Bexley teams the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting diagnostic assessments for ADHD and ASD, supporting the ongoing physical monitoring of children and young people on medication.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Paediatricians, an Advanced Pharmacist, Clinical Associate Psychologists and an HCA.
We require a motivated individual with a keen interest in improving services for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions and an ability to adapt quickly to change. The applicant will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work well as part of a team. They will also have good computer skills and competence in using digital technology.
Hours of work will be predominantly 09.00 – 17.00 with flexibility to work between the hours of 08.00 – 18.00 occasionally to meet the needs of the service. Operational management is provided by the Team Leader for the Greenwich ADHD team.
