What you will be doing

• Attend ward rounds and provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions.
• Analyse behaviours and adapt care accordingly with colleagues.
• Update patient records.
• Provide overall care and support, including assisting with personal hygiene.
• Work a shift pattern of 12.5 hours a day, 3‑4 days a week including nights and weekends (37.5 hours per week).
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance in a challenging environment.

Emerald Place Clinic

The clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs. These could include mental health conditions such as mood disorders and acute psychosis. Additionally, young people may have co‑existing additional needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism, or disordered eating.
