Job summary
An educational institution in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a full-time Technician - Electrical. You will assist with managing workshops, ensure the safe usage of equipment, and support the staff in providing high-quality teaching materials. The ideal candidate will have Level 2 qualifications in Electrical, relevant experience, and possess up-to-date knowledge of Electrical practices within Construction. - Assisting the Construction teaching staff in managing workshops and classrooms.

- Assisting staff in managing and purchasing resources and equipment.
- Preparing learning activities and designing equipment for use.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
- Assisting the Construction teaching staff in the management of workshops, classrooms, and outdoor training areas.
- Organising and providing the safe storage usage and working of all materials and equipment by both staff and students, in conformity with Health and Safety regulations.
- Assisting staff in the management and the purchase of resources and equipment.
- Safely setting up, preparing learning activities, and / or designing, as appropriate, equipment for the use of students and staff.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical.
- Up to date knowledge of Electrical practices within Construction.
- Relevant experience.
