A leading vehicle breakdown service provider is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Stevenage. The role offers a competitive salary starting at £38,625 and the potential to earn up to £50,000 with bonuses. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues, providing exceptional customer service, and performing vehicle maintenance and repairs. This Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician is working for one of the UK’s leading vehicle breakdown companies who provide a first-class service to thousands of customers. Looking for people to start ASAP!
Salary: £38,625 basic per annum, with the opportunity to earn up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime; overtime at 1.5x. A guaranteed overtime option can increase your base salary to £44,385. Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays.

- Attending breakdowns to diagnose issues and, where possible, get the vehicle back on the road; otherwise arrange return to workshop
- Identify problems and advise customers on the vehicle’s issues
- Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical work and diagnostics
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered with relevant qualifications (City and Guilds, IMI or NVQ); must be able to show qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
- Full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans
- Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
