A leading energy provider in Stockport is seeking an experienced Buyer to deliver tenders and negotiate contracts. We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join the team in Stockport. The Buyer role delivers short term sourcing events and full tenders within a specified category. The role will ensure the delivery of tenders, commercial interventions and contract renewals. The role holder will need to work with colleagues from the business to understand required specifications and evaluation criteria.
The role will be required to create milestone plans for the delivery of their work and ensure compliance with internal and external governance. The role will regularly liaise with managers in the business as well as offering support to other colleagues in Commercial.
