FX Operations Analyst: Trade Support & Reconciliation
Job summary
A leading financial services firm in London is seeking a candidate for a role in FX Portfolio Management. The position involves managing FX trades, performing reconciliations, and providing support to both internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Python. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency in managing FX transactions.
Qualifications
- Exceptional documentation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous approach with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision.
- Familiarity with Python.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing foreign exchange (FX) trades using firm systems.
- Perform daily portfolio checks to verify and correct discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile positions and transactions across multiple systems.
- Support the settlement process for FX trades.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the setup of new portfolios.
- Communicate with custodian banks for trade notifications.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports.
- Assist with onboarding new brokers and maintaining records.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
