ThisisastandoutopportunityforaCharteredBuildingSurveyor(MRICS)withthetechnicalexpertise,leadershipcapability,anddrivetocontributetoagrowingandhigh-performingconsultancyteam.You’llworkonabroadportfolioofprojectsacrosscommercial,education,residential,andpublicsectorassets–combininghands-ontechnicaldeliverywithprojectandpeoplemanagementresponsibilities.
- LeadingonanddeliveringawiderangeofprofessionalBuildingSurveyingservices–includingdilapidations,contractadmin,projectmonitoring,technicalduediligence,andrefurbishmentschemes
- ActingasContractAdministratorand/orProjectManageroncomplexprojects,frominceptionthroughtocompletion
- Overseeingandreviewingtheworkofjuniorsurveyors;supportingtheirtraininganddevelopment
- Managingyourownworkload,clients,anddeadlineswhileensuringqualityassuranceandprofessionalstandardsaremet
- Liaisingdirectlywithclientsandconsultants,ofteninaclient-facingcapacity
- Contributingtobusinessdevelopmentandspottingopportunitiesforfurtherwork
- Stayinguptodatewithlegislation(includingCDM,BSA)andofferingPrincipalDesignerdutieswhenrequired
- MRICSqualifiedwithastrongtechnicalBuildingSurveyingbackground
- Minimumof4–5years post-qualificationexperienceinaconsultancyormultidisciplinarysetting
- Proventrackrecordacrossbothprofessionalandprojectwork
- Comfortableworkingindependentlywhilemanagingclientsandstakeholders
- Experiencementoringorsupervisingmorejuniorteammembers
- Workingknowledgeofstatutoryapprovals(Planning,BuildingRegs,PartyWalletc.)
- Strongcommunication,reportwriting,andpresentationskills
- AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelforsitevisitsandclientmeetings
- Workinacollaborative,forward-thinkingconsultancywithastrongreputationforquality
- Bepartofamultidisciplinaryteamwithexposuretoexcitingandvariedprojects
