What You’ll Be Doing

• LeadingonanddeliveringawiderangeofprofessionalBuildingSurveyingservices–includingdilapidations,contractadmin,projectmonitoring,technicalduediligence,andrefurbishmentschemes
• ActingasContractAdministratorand/orProjectManageroncomplexprojects,frominceptionthroughtocompletion
• Overseeingandreviewingtheworkofjuniorsurveyors;supportingtheirtraininganddevelopment
• Managingyourownworkload,clients,anddeadlineswhileensuringqualityassuranceandprofessionalstandardsaremet
• Liaisingdirectlywithclientsandconsultants,ofteninaclient-facingcapacity
• Contributingtobusinessdevelopmentandspottingopportunitiesforfurtherwork
• Stayinguptodatewithlegislation(includingCDM,BSA)andofferingPrincipalDesignerdutieswhenrequired

What You’ll Need

• MRICSqualifiedwithastrongtechnicalBuildingSurveyingbackground
• Minimumof4–5years post-qualificationexperienceinaconsultancyormultidisciplinarysetting
• Proventrackrecordacrossbothprofessionalandprojectwork
• Comfortableworkingindependentlywhilemanagingclientsandstakeholders
• Experiencementoringorsupervisingmorejuniorteammembers
• Workingknowledgeofstatutoryapprovals(Planning,BuildingRegs,PartyWalletc.)
• Strongcommunication,reportwriting,andpresentationskills
• AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelforsitevisitsandclientmeetings
