  • Acting as Contract Administrator and/or Project Manager on complex projects, from inception through to completion
  • Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior surveyors; supporting their training and development
  • Managing your own workload, clients, and deadlines while ensuring quality assurance and professional standards are met
  • Liaising directly with clients and consultants, often in a client-facing capacity
  • Contributing to business development and spotting opportunities for further work
  • Staying up to date with legislation (including CDM, BSA) and offering Principal Designer duties when required

What You'll Need

  • MRICS qualified with a strong technical Building Surveying background
  • Minimum of 4–5 years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy or multidisciplinary setting
  • Proven track record across both professional and project work
  • Comfortable working independently while managing clients and stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
  • Working knowledge of statutory approvals (Planning, Building Regulations, Party Wall etc.)
  • Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings

Why Join?

  • Work in a collaborative, forward-thinking consultancy with a strong reputation for quality
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team with exposure to exciting and varied projects
  • Clear routes to further progression at Associate level and beyond
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including bonus schemes, pension, enhanced leave, and flexible/hybrid working options
