Job Title: Water Treatment Service Chemist
Location: Slough, West London.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £55k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Service Chemist through to Lead Water Treatment Service Chemist

A rapidly expanding Water Treatment business who specialise in technical Water Treatment, Risk Assessing and Water Hygiene services are now seeking an organised and knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist based in and around the Slough area. The ideal candidate will have experience working for an established Water Treatment / Hygiene Company, carrying out the analysis of Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, Cooling Towers on Food, Beverage and Manufacturing sites. Holding the WMSoc in Steam Boilers and Cooling Tower chemistry would be desirable to the role but not essential. For the right candidate our client can provide a structured training plan into Account Management / Sales.

• ” Will have previous experience working for a reputable Water treatment / Hygiene company, working within a Water Treatment Service Chemist role.
• ” Will have excellent communication skills.
• ” Holding a Chemistry related qualification or the WMSoc in Steam Boilers and Cooling Tower chemistry would be beneficial to the role.
• ” Excellent understanding of Industrial Water Treatment Systems and use of Chemicals.
• ” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.

• ” Arranging own schedule; attending site visits to carry out weekly/ monthly sampling and analysis of Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers.
• ” Closed system sampling, analysis and reporting; dosing with appropriate chemicals.
• ” Use of on site test kits to interpret results.
• ” Producing service reports for clients and providing advice on productivity.
• ” Upselling of remaining services and equipment.
• ” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients as well as updating Site Log books.
• ” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
