Job description

Due to continuous growth of the business, this diverse and fast growing water treatment company covering a range of industrial and commercial sectors across the country is actively seeking to employ a competent, hardworking and committed Water Treatment Chemist based in the Central Belt area. We welcome applications from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the central belt area.

Qualifications
  • Ideally, the applicant will have City & Guilds qualification.
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Must have significant demonstrable experience – working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry, which will include tank cleaning, disinfections, cooling towers, acid descales, steam boilers, flushing and closed systems, etc.
  • Must be conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8).
Key Tasks
  • Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam Boilers and Closed Systems.
  • Maintaining paperwork and ensuring that all work is carried effectively and appropriately.
  • Building and maintaining a good rapport with company’s mixed portfolio clients.
  • Visiting sites as per client’s requirements.
