Job summary
A leading banking client in London is seeking a motivated IT Asset Manager to lead their hardware asset management transformation. This role involves defining lifecycle processes for IT assets and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. Strong experience in IT Asset Management within Financial Services is essential, along with good communication skills and knowledge of ITIL. Candidates should be prepared for a greenfield environment with good work-from-home options.
Qualifications
- Experience in an IT Asset Manager position.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
- Familiarity with Financial Services.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute lifecycle processes for IT assets.
- Ensure accuracy in tracking and governance of hardware assets.
- Oversee optimisation of hardware assets in compliance with regulations.
Skills
My leading Banking client are looking for a talented and motivated individual to lead the strategic transformation of their Hardware Asset Management function and oversee the life cycle management of IT hardware assets across their EMEA business.
You'll be responsible for defining and executing a standardised life cycle process for physical IT assets and ensuring accurate tracking, governance, and optimisation of hardware assets in alignment with regulatory requirements.
This is a newly created role in a greenfield department. A brilliant opportunity!
The following skills/experience is essential:
- Previously worked in an IT Asset Manager position
- ServiceNow or BMC Remedy (ITSM)
- Previously worked in Financial Services
- Good ITIL understanding
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: Up to £80,000 + bonus + package
Level: AVP
Location: London (good work from home options available)
