Responsibilities
- Driving HGV 2 vehicles within Heathrow Airport.
- Delivering and collecting airfreight cargo.
- Loading and unloading palletised items.
Position: HGV Class 2 Driver Heathrow Airport
Location: London Heathrow Airport
Payrate: £15.31 p/h - £28.74 p/h
Hours: Full-time, 4 on 2 off shift pattern, between 05:00 AM to 00:30 PM
- Driving HGV 2 vehicles within Heathrow Airport (Airside driving training provided).
- Delivering and collecting airfreight cargo to and from aircraft.
- Loading and unloading palletised items using specialist equipment.
- Adhering to strict safety procedures while driving airside.
- Aged 21+ due to insurance requirements.
- Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- HGV driving experience (Airside driving desirable but not essential).
- A clean criminal record (DBS check required).
- Work life balance with early and late shifts on a 4 on 2 off rota.
- Ability to pass a driver's medical and colour vision assessment.
- Entry level payrate of £15.31 per hour / £31,800 per year
- Overtime payrate between Monday - Friday £21.55 p/h and Weekends/Bank holidays payrate £28.74 p/h
- Full-time hours with overtime opportunities available
