A leading aerospace engineering firm in Cardiff is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their team. This role involves supporting day-to-day engineering activities and developing analytical skills while working alongside experienced engineers. The successful candidate will possess a degree in Aerospace Engineering and exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills. Opportunities for professional development and technical training will be provided.
Positions are available within the Engineering department for a two-year fixed term Graduate Engineer. These positions are designed for graduates with an MEng / BEng degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real work environment with many responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work within the GE Aerospace Wales Engineering team in a Graduate Engineer capacity. The role will be office based but will require a large percentage of time on the shop floor to develop skills and capabilities. You will learn and develop your skills with the objective of providing day-to-day technical support to maintenance technicians. You will have opportunities to work with professional engineers on projects that enable continuous improvements and growth to the business and the teams around you.
The role provides exposure to hardware from GE90 and CFM56 product lines. The successful candidate will need to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results. This position requires a high level of cross-functional teamwork with departments outside of Engineering such as operations, planning, quality, sourcing and EH&S.
As part of the graduate program, the company will support application of the professional accreditation of IENG.
A minimum 2:1 Accredited Bachelor's, or a Master's, degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
