NHS Scotland is seeking volunteers for Radio Lollipop at the Children’s Hospital in Glasgow. Volunteers will contribute to creating a comforting environment for young patients through interactive play and activities. Ideal candidates are 18+ and willing to commit 2 hours weekly.

Radio Lollipop believes in the healing power of play – providing smiles and laughter to children who need it most.
Many patients return repeatedly to hospital, some are terminally ill, spending much of their lives in hospital. Radio Lollipop gives young patients a voice and a choice during their stay. While they can't refuse treatment, they can request their favorite songs, win prizes, and hear their voices on the radio, creating a normal and comforting environment.
Each volunteer must be aged 18 or older and able to commit 2 hours per week to interactive play with children using fun activities developed by Radio Lollipop.
A broadcast radio studio is part of our activities, providing interactive competitions, music, stories, and games at most hospitals where we operate.
