Assistant Management Accountant-Jobs in Großbritannien

The RTR Accounts Assistant will support accurate month-end reporting for assigned entities, working with RTR Accountants to ensure reported figures are precise, timely, and compliant with control frameworks and accounting policies.

This role reports to a Lead Divisional RTR Accountant based in Manchester, UK, within a global RTR Analyst team at the Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC). The team operates under a hybrid model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities including journal entries, bank and cash postings, intercompany recharges, general ledger/sub-ledger management, account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and department closing activities.
• Complete tasks such as posting adjustments, accruals, and journal entries following SOPs, internal policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
• Implement internal controls within accounting processes, e.g., bank reconciliations.
• Respond promptly and accurately to stakeholder requests, including audits.

• At least 2 years of experience managing general ledgers, bank/cash postings, and reconciliations.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building professional relationships.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach and ability to foster collaboration.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Capacity to quickly assimilate large amounts of information.
