Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in hotel real estate, with a deep understanding of underwriting, financial modelling, and hotel operations (preferably luxury). This role requires a professional who can work effectively with diverse cultures, present confidently to various stakeholders, and possesses a thorough understanding of luxury hospitality assets and consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting and Financial Modelling:
- Assist in underwriting of potential hotel acquisitions and developments.
- Develop and update financial models to control management of asset.
- Compare and analyse financial projections against actual performance to provide actionable insights.
- Asset Management:
- Assist in managing and maximising the value of the hotel assets through strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling to evaluate asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and investors.
- Assist in the operator selection for any existing or future assets.
- Operations Management:
- Assist in overseeing pre and post operations of luxury hotel properties to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
- Monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) which are in place by operators to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with hotel management teams to optimize guest experiences and operational efficiency.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to the decision makers and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex financial and operational information clearly and effectively.
- Cultural Competency:
- Work effectively with diverse cultural teams across various geographies.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 1-3 years of experience in hospitality real estate advisory, investments, or asset management.
- Proven expertise in hotel operations and structures, underwriting and financial modelling.
- Strong understanding of luxury hotel assets and luxury consumer behaviours.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications
- Additional certifications in hospitality or asset management.
- Experience with international luxury hotel brands.
- Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems.
