A staffing solutions provider is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Oldbury, offering a competitive salary totaling £48,000 including a signing bonus. - Must hold a valid full UK driving license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspection.
- Complete service and repair documentation as required.
- Overhaul hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Skills
OTE: £48,000
- Basic Salary: £42,387 + £1500 Signing Bonus
- Working Hours: No Weekends
- Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 07:00-16:00
- Location - Oldbury
- Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
- Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards.
- Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based.
- Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
- HGV licence is an advantage
- Full UK Driving license is essential
- MOT preparation experience
