Job summary

A dental clinic in the United Kingdom is looking for a skilled technician to design crowns using CAD software and produce restorations through CAD/CAM workflows. Responsibilities

  • Design single-unit and multi-unit crowns using CAD software based on digital scans and clinical prescriptions.
  • Produce restorations using CAD/CAM workflows, including milling and/or 3D printing processes.
  • Work with materials such as zirconia, lithium disilicate, hybrid ceramics, and PMMA.
  • Ensure correct occlusion, marginal fit, proximal contacts, and aesthetic outcomes.
  • Carry out staining, glazing, and finishing of crown restorations where required.
  • Review incoming digital impressions and liaise with clinicians regarding scan quality or design requirements.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, including case documentation and material traceability.

  • Ensure all work complies with GDC standards, infection control, COSHH, and health and safety requirements.
