Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a very well-established, sector leading business based in Manchester City Centre to appoint a newly qualified Management Accountant. The business is highly successful, PE backed and continue to consolidate before future growth. Working in the Commercial Finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for 3 separate entities, providing insightful information and analysis to enable the business to drive forward. Location: Central Manchester | Salary: £43,000 - £46,000

Salary £43,000 - £46,000 DOE, hybrid working available, up to 10% pension, 25 days holiday plus banks, plus your birthday and Christmas Eve off, ability to buy/sell holidays, city centre location with fantastic tram/train/bus links. Full list of benefits available on request.

• Full responsibility for P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Budgeting, forecasting and reporting for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Production of statutory accounts and support for the annual audit process.
• Management of journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of VAT returns, payroll, and other regulatory submissions.
• Financial analysis to support decision-making, including ad-hoc reporting.
• Leading performance reviews with executives and P&L owners.
• Streamlining and integrating finance processes across the group.
• Driving continuous improvements in financial systems and reporting.
• Other ad-hoc monthly reporting and financial analysis.

• Must have 3+ years\' experience in a Management Accounting role with full oversight of 2+ entities.
• CIMA/ACCA student (newly qualified)
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial.
• Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of the workings of a Finance team, including best practice and working to strict deadlines.
• Confident and collaborative, keen to build internal relationships.
• Essential to have a common sense approach to dealing with problems.
• Proactive attitude to resolving issues.
