Job description

What will you be doing?

You will take ownership of stock-related financial information and reporting across the business, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data, and proactively solving issues. This is a crucial role involving both robust financial control and influential business partnering.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end ownership of stock information, accounting, and reporting, including investigating variances and providing recommendations.
• Producing weekly performance reports, as well as monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis for senior management review.
• Tracking stock provisions and supporting the preparation of analysis for audits and planning cycles.
• Business partnering with non-financial teams, providing day-to-day analysis, modelling, and managing financial risks and opportunities.
• Continuously improving existing processes and making recommendations for enhancements.

Why would you be a good fit?

You are a Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with prior experience in budgeting and month-end reporting, ideally gained within a retail or FMCG environment.
