Overview

Human Resources Administrator — Full-time and Permanent — £29,074.00 - £31,189.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance.

Are you a recent graduate who is looking to develop a career in HR? Do you want to progress within HR and gain professional HR qualifications? United Colleges Group (UCG) provides education and skills support to c.16,000 learners each year, with around 1,000 dedicated staff. We are seeking ambitious, outstanding candidates to join our HR administration team to support managers and staff as we shape the future culture of UCG.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the HR team on a range of tasks including recruitment and selection, payroll, and general administration.
  • Take minutes for union, disciplinary, and grievance meetings; maintain HR records and databases; filing and filing systems.
  • Act as first point of contact for queries to the HR department; work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment and multi-task as required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • No former HR experience necessary; proactive with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • Good IT skills, including word processing and spreadsheets; ability to learn and use HR computer-based record systems.
  • A CIPD qualification is not essential as you will be supported with working towards this qualification as part of your development.
