Step Teachers are hiring for an English Teacher in Rochdale! – Full-Time, Long-Term

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join a dynamic, co-educational secondary school in Rochdale, starting ASAP.

This is a full-time, long-term position with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Basics

Location: Rochdale
Start: ASAP
Pay: Up to £200 / day for first 12 weeks. Paid to scale from 13th week.
Hours: Full-time Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm for the right person

  • Experience teaching English across KS3 & KS4.
  • Committed to inclusive education; skilled in differentiating for diverse learners and SEND.
  • Creative, reflective, and able to inspire students to love literature, writing and discussion.
  • A strong collaborator; willing to work with the whole school team to drive continuous improvement.
