A leading NHS hospital in Shrewsbury is seeking a highly motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The role involves dispensing medicines, patient counselling, and contributing to a patient-focused service in a supportive environment. Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred, and registration with ACT is required.
We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable and conscientious registered Pharmacy Technician with ACT to join our team. We are a department committed to the extended role of Technicians, and you will be encouraged to develop your skills in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice in our busy department.
Medicines Management Systems are highly integrated into electronic IT systems. Pharmacy Technicians are involved in “at the bedside clinical services”, PODs, medicines reconciliation and one-stop dispensing. This position provides the successful applicant with the ability to specialise in the essential AMU pathway that has a real impact in patient care. To provide staff support, training, management and guidance under the direction of a senior member of staff.
