A global engineering consultancy is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with experience in water and wastewater engineering. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across the UK and Ireland on various technical projects, from design to implementation. The Water Utilities Division is the centre of excellence for UK and Ireland water and wastewater challenges, delivering services throughout the full project life cycle and providing diverse and technically stimulating opportunities.
Overview of the role: We cover all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning to handover. We provide specialist technical support to colleagues across our global business with opportunities to work on diverse and technically challenging projects for UK water utilities and other organisations. Examples of projects include the Leeds flood alleviation scheme, carbon management tools for Wessex Water, High Speed Rail 2, Thames Tideway, and strategic pipelines for Anglian Water.
We work on a wide range of design projects including water treatment, water distribution and storage, wastewater recycling, industrial process water, desalination, irrigation, hydropower, and flood defence.
