A leading media organization in London seeks a dynamic professional to lead innovative streaming content. The role focuses on engaging underserved audiences through creative live and on-demand projects. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong live production skills and technical proficiency, alongside a collaborative spirit and a keen interest in digital media and analytics.
This exciting role in the Streaming team will lead on the creation and delivery of innovative live and on demand content and projects in the newsroom and the field.
The role has a focus on attracting underserved audiences to BBC News on iPlayer and our digital platforms through content that adds value beyond breaking and daily news. This role will also work closely with key partners across the BBC including Nations, Local and the News AI team.
BBC News Streaming is a team playing a key role in driving the digital transformation of BBC News, in a rapidly changing - and innovative - part of the news landscape.
Our live streams and video on demand content run on iPlayer in the UK. Streams also run on the News Channel, and globally on BBC News live pages – and as audience viewing for our content grows, so is the team.
In the past few months, a new live stream presentation area for has launched, and the team have produced a range of innovative live and on demand content. It's an exciting time to be part of a new way of delivering and consuming news.
