Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Are you a hands-on engineering supervisor ready to lead from the front? We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Working Engineering Supervisor to join our team and oversee our prestigious Derby College contract. The engineer will required to complete A/C across all sites.

This is a key role where you\'ll be the technical lead on-site, managing a skilled team and ensuring both planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising and supporting a team of multi-skilled engineers and subcontractors
• Acting as the main point of contact for the client, resolving technical queries and performance issues
• Ensuring all PPM and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to contract requirements
• Conducting site inspections and maintaining compliance documentation
• Managing work instructions, job variations, and ensuring timely, high-quality task completion
• Taking responsibility for H&S compliance, team training, discipline, and performance
• Monitoring and controlling costs, materials, and equipment allocation
• AC engineer to complete PPM/Reactive requirements

What You'll Need

• Team management experience and a proven background in a supervisory role
• City & Guilds in Mechanical - AC qualification required
• IOSH Managing Safely or similar Health & Safety qualification
• Strong understanding of compliance and service delivery standards
