Wakam is a European B2B2C insurer that designs white label insurance products for e‑retailers, brokers, and fintechs. The insurance is embedded in the partner’s customer experience, for example a self‑service e‑scooter automatically includes insurance. Wakam operates in 32 European countries and provides most of its products via API and its Play&Plug technology platform.

• Participate in scoping and implementation of new products on the data platform.
• Define the roadmap with the Product Manager.
• Own the development of user stories (Front & Backend).
• Support functional and technical testing phases.
• Contribute to platform robustness, performance, security and UX/UI design.
• Participate in sprints, team rituals, forward‑looking development work and technology watch.
• Pair, review code, share knowledge and mentor junior developers.

• At least 5 years’ successful experience in IT project development.
• Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, Typescript, Terraform and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiar with Agile, Clean Code, Hexagonal Architecture, Test‑Driven Development, REST API, CI/CD.
• Passionate about Software Architecture, Infrastructure as Code, change management and scaling high‑performing tech organisations.
• English in a professional context; experience with Data teams is a bonus.
• Good command of English in a professional context.
