3D Scanner Account Manager (w / m / d) – Fully Remote - SHINING 3D Technology GmbH

SHINING 3D is a global leader in 3D digitizing and additive manufacturing solutions. With more than 20 years of industry experience, we specialize in developing high-precision 3D scanners and innovative digital technologies that empower professionals in engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, research, and beyond.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic 3D Scanner Sales professional with a strong sales and technical background, a solid understanding of market dynamics, and a passion for developing long-lasting customer relationships. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and sales teams to shape and execute SHINING 3D’s sales strategy in Europe.

You will leverage market insights and data to identify growth opportunities, refine product positioning, and support strategic decision‑making. You will also lead initiatives aimed at expanding our market presence, driving product adoption, and increasing long‑term profitability.

What You’ll Do
  • Generate sales revenue by performing product demonstrations at customer sites and remote sessions; assess customer requirements including installation conditions, engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, and inspection plans.
  • Manage a network of strategic partners in the French market, ensuring strong communication, performance alignment, and adherence to company objectives.
  • Develop expert knowledge of SHINING 3D’s hardware and software to deliver impactful demonstrations at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities beyond traditional channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales Management, Inside Sales, Applications Engineering, and Marketing—to move opportunities forward and close deals.
  • Contribute to the sales team by sharing ideas that improve processes, efficiency, and market reach.
  • Serve as a technical contact point, providing guidance and support to prospects during product evaluation.
  • Communicate customer feedback and product improvement requests to Applications Engineering and R&D.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance targets.
What You’ll Bring
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Knowledge of CAD software.
  • Ability to work independently and around 20% travel per year, including local customer visits, partner meetings, and occasional European events or visits to our office in Germany.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
  • Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, power generation, metalworking, or machinery.
  • Experience with 3D scanners, lasers, quality control systems, or 3D production technologies; experience selling 3D-related products is a strong advantage.
  • Strong ability to diagnose technical challenges, propose solutions, and communicate them effectively.
