Job summary
A leading sustainability ratings provider is searching for a freelance consultant with a background in social compliance for a role focused on deploying digital worker engagement programs in Zambia. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the global supply chain industry, excellent communication skills in English and Bemba, and a strong understanding of labour rights issues. Flexibility and remote work capability with a global team is essential. The role requires some evening meetings for collaboration with teams in Canada and Europe.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience delivering social or labour impact projects.
- Understanding of labour and human rights issues in global supply chains.
- Self-motivated with a high desire to take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of digital worker voice programs in workplaces in Zambia.
- Manage grievance cases and liaise between stakeholders.
- Support the development of supplier and worker onboarding materials.
