Overview
HSES MANAGER - ref.JOB-1332 SUMMARY : Ready for exciting challenges in the Energy sector? We're actively seeking a HSES Manager to support the construction and commissioning of major industrial project in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strong and consistent safety leadership and direction
- Establish, implement and maintain the Site HSE management system, including supporting manuals, plans, procedures, documentation, and reporting systems
- Ensure correct and compliant HSE support is provided to the site personnel and any contractor / subcontractor
- Establish HSE standards and protocols ensuring an in-depth understanding of associated regulations and legal requirements
- Supports the safety culture of the site by ensuring compliance to established safety procedures
- Ensure that environmental best standards are used on the project
- Perform and participate when required on hazard identification workshops, risk assessment workouts, emergency response plan drills, toolbox talks, site inductions and training exercise requirements where required
- Lead and participate in HSE audits
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Experience in HSE Management role on projects in an industrial sector such as electricity production, gas production, oil, chemistry, refining, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) for large projects
- Ability to lead and function within a combined client and several subcontractors and partners
- Experience, energy and resilience as well as proven systems, techniques and methods to assess and deliver the project HSE process, on time and to budget, keeping environment constraint to the highest standard
- Effective communication and leadership skills
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in HSE, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE studies - risks - impacts
- Bilingual English and Dutch
