A civil engineering firm in France is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards on site. The ideal candidate should have a recognized qualification in HSE Management, strong experience in civil works, and knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. This is a full-time, site-based role that includes preparing reports and conducting audits.

Qualifications

  • Internationally recognized qualification in HSE Management (e.g., BSc, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
  • Proven site HSE experience in the civil works field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in HSE roles.

Responsabilités

  • Ensure compliance with the Company HSE Management System on site.
  • Contribute to the respect of Project HSE Plan and procedures.
  • Participate in the emergency response program.
  • Prepare monthly HSE reports and the final project report.
  • Conduct HSE audits and inspections.

Overview

We are seeking an HSE Specialist with proven experience in the construction or civil engineering sector. Several positions are open, including:

  • Project HSE Engineer
  • HSE Training Coordinator
  • HSE Inspector

The ideal candidate will provide HSE support to all site activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and controlling HSE activities, while delivering quality and timely advice to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure compliance with the Company HSE Management System on site.
  • Contribute to the respect of Project HSE Plan and project-specific HSE procedures in line with Client expectations and Company requirements.
  • Participate in the emergency response program, including equipment requirements and staffing needs.
  • Support and guide site HSE staff in decision-making and instruction issuing.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings (client, local authority, third parties), preparing and issuing required documentation.
  • Prepare monthly HSE reports and the final project report.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Project HSE Plan, ensuring goals and KPIs are achieved, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct HSE audits and inspections.
