Job Description:

The Global New Business subdivision (FCN) leads and manages the development of new markets and strategic opportunities. It manages the related first-of-a-kind sales for the Fuel BU in Europe and the Middle East (excluding CERCA and Zirconium industrial sales), as part of the FC division, in coordination with other entities in the fuel and Framatome Commercial Excellence sales organization. We are looking for a New Business Manager to identify and establish new business ventures in Europe and Latin America.

Main Mission

Lead new business development activities in Europe and Latin America within the Global New Business subdivision. Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new markets, services, and projects; managing early-phase commercial and partnership opportunities towards first-of-a-kind sales.
  • Developing new business, creating value for customers and Fuel BU, and pursuing these opportunities to completion.
  • Establishing joint ventures, IP licensing agreements, shareholder agreements, and other related functions necessary for new business ventures.
  • Analyzing strategic market areas and key accounts to understand their needs and problems.
  • Formulating market entry and commercial strategies aligned with FL BU and Framatome Corporate strategy, including strategic partnerships or subsidiaries where relevant.
  • Assessing markets, identifying customer needs, and tracking market opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing major agreements.
  • Contributing to the development of New Business strategy and plans.
  • Developing and updating long-term strategies for New Business in Europe.

Profile

Candidate should have over 10 years of proven experience in business development and sales within Europe, especially in complex large-scale projects in the energy sector, preferably in nuclear fuel. A master's degree in engineering or natural sciences is required; an MBA is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate leadership, negotiation skills, and a successful track record in business development. Deep knowledge of the nuclear sector and a well-developed industrial network are essential. Fluency in French and English is required, along with proficiency in at least one other European language.
