A global investment management firm in Paris is seeking an Associate in Operations to manage financial monitoring and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in finance, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in English is essential for working in an international team. Position overview

The candidate will work as part of the Finance and Operations team based in Paris, which is composed of four persons including one Vice President, two Associates and one Analyst. The candidate will have its own assignments and will report to the Operation’s team leader. The working environment is international and the candidate will collaborate with other teams members such as Investment professionals and Investor relations or Business Development professionals based in Geneva, New York or Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will work on the financial and administrative monitoring of French and Luxembourg vehicles as well as Separate accounts. The Paris team is responsible for the follow-up of all European vehicles and clients.

The responsibilities of an Associate in the Operations team are generally the following:

  • Coordination of daily Cash and Securities reconciliations with the Fund Administrator
  • Organization of capital calls and distributions in relation with the Investment team and the Investor’s relations team
  • Coordination of the Investment execution and recording
  • Verification of the investment accounting records by the Fund Administrator
  • Review of quarterly financials produced by the Fund Admin
  • Review of Annual Financial Statements and coordination with auditors
  • Monitoring of fees and expenses assist with the quarterly invoicing of Management Fees
  • Validation of underlying funds valuations
  • Assist the Investment Team in the forecasting exercise
  • Participate in the risk management and preparation of internal and external reportings.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starting person with good organizational skills. We are looking forward to integrating a new member of a dynamic and cohesive team.

The candidate will be graduating from a licence or bachelor's degree in economics, accounting or finance and with a 3 to 7 years working experience from an audit firm or asset management company.

Private equity or Private assets experience is a plus. The working environment is in English.
