As a technician in the Radio Frequency group, you will work on the 2.998 GHz system consisting of high-power RF modulators with klystrons that feed the accelerating sections of the LINAC (Linear Accelerator). You will also work on the Injection/Extraction system, which is composed of pulsed power supplies and magnets, which is part of the injector in the ESRF accelerator complex.
You will contribute to the maintenance and upgrading of the system, including the design and implementation of new low-level RF, analogue and digital electronics boards. You will also actively participate in finalising the Linac refurbishment program. Some activities will be related to the preparation works for the new injector test bench at 5.7 GHz.

As a member of the Accelerator and Source Division, you will be required to contribute up to 15% of your time to the operation of the accelerator complex on shift work for service to the Users.
